We want our community to participate and enjoy the festival which is always a remarkable and soul-stirring experience. Start your weekend off right and come on out to our 3rd John Coltrane Jazz Appreciation Day Festival!”

Dr. ‘Satchmo’ Mannan: “In the garden of the humanities and human music-power, the music of John Coltrane is a self-refreshing flower. It is a labor, a love of God, and a love of neighbor–expressed by gratitude and service. This is because it seeks at once to praise God and to raise to human consciousness via the power of a love supreme.”
